The SLOTRIB Conference becomes a Regular Feature of the Forum: scheduled for Day 1

The two-day IRT Industrial Forum is celebrated as "an event by the industry for the industry", so the news that the biennial SLOTRIB conference will once again enrich the first day of the Forum was greeted with enthusiasm by organisers and participants alike. The Slovenian Society for Tribology will organise the 15th Conference on Tribology, Lubrication and Green Technologies on the sidelines of the 15th Industrial Forum in Portorož on Monday 10 June 2024. The first time they took part in the Forum with this area was in 2022.

Slotrib_1The event will again focus on lubricants, coolants and fuels, green mobility and e-mobility, tribological properties of modern materials, green solutions for industrial systems, nano-tribology and micro-tribology, wear and damage of machine elements, as well as maintenance, additive technologies and 3D printing.

In addition to education, the meeting aims to promote networking, exchange of experiences and contacts between experts, researchers and students. 

 

Present your poster or paper

Professionals in the field can present their work at the conference with a paper or poster. You can submit your paper (title with abstract up to 200 words) until 8 May 2024 at slotrib@tint.fs.uni-lj.si. You can participate with an advertisement in the proceedings or on the exhibition stand (showcasing equipment, resources and services related to ecology, tribology, lubricants, coolants, alternative fuels and materials and related applications).

Your conference registration fee (€155) not only grants access to the 15th IRT Industrial Forum but also includes a copy of the proceedings on a USB stick and lunch.
